On Dwelling

No mortal eye can see our God at all

For He is so incomprehensible,

But if we love each other, great and small,

He dwells in us as indispensable.

The fruit of God within us shows through grace;

The more we love the more His love reveals.

Unlimited in scope through time and space,

We see His love perfected, true and real.

Until we reach the foot of God's great throne,

So sanctified by faith in Christ His son,

The presence of the Lord on Earth is shown

Within the love we give, our hearts He's won.

            Not only does God's Spirit dwell in you,

            You also dwell in Him, both through and through.

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another,

God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us,
