'' HISTORY REPEATS IT SELF ''
The main cause for many of the crises and troubles which we see engulfing the world today is do to the fact that we do not look to history for guidance and direction......And thus each generation preceding another, is doomed and plagued to continue upon the same endless cycle and path as those generations before, and so consequently each generation repeats the same mistakes and follies as those before them....Hence why the saying..'' History always repeats it self ''...Now the question we ask our selves is why?..What is the reason or cause behind this stubborn and persistent refusal to learn from the mistakes of those whom have come before us??.....The answer for me is actually quite simple..I believe that its attribute is ...Arrogance....Each generation believes it self to be more advanced, more educated and civilized then the one before...
And so consequently the preceding generations view many of the values, thoughts and even solutions to many of the prevailing political, Social and civil issues and troubles of the previous generations as outdated and no longer viable or relevant to the same issues in their ( The new generation ) modern and more sophisticated times....And so the lessons which have been passed down to us from previous generations or civilizations, so to teach, warn even educate the next generations...These lessons are passed down from preceding civilizations and generations which have first hand both experienced and have survived or in some cases have not survived the very same many social, political and civil crises which we today are faced with...However for the reason I have already mentioned...
These lessons are in most part ignored, discarded and not adhered to, and thus the preceding generations are left open so to repeat and continue the very same mistakes and follies as those who came before them and so the cycle continues.......Of course there is one very important factor which is the cause for such blind sited and narrow minded view, that is that man believes many of mentioned issues and ailments with in society can be addressed and dealt with through the progress of science and technological advancement....Therefore as each generation becomes more educated and more technologically advanced then the previous generations....The less we look upon and take heed of the lessons and guidance from what we perceive to be the less educated and sophisticated generations of the past.....
However what we do not understand and comprehend...Is that the many lessons and solutions passed down to us from antiquity or even relatively recent passed generations in fact address the most basic and fundamental or core element with in the society of man...A element which is timeless and has no shelf life expectancy and dose not change or alter with the progress or advancement of technology or science, and this is...Human nature....And the most prominent or the most powerful element and driving force with in human nature is..Greed....It is this one single element or vice which man harbors with in the most darkest chambers of his sole and nature which has, is and will always be the main driving force and cause of war, violence, suffering, tyranny and suppression in history....This truth will always play a very important and decisive part within human society...Now it makes no difference how technological or scientifically we may progress..Until we can learn from the lessons which have been passed down to us in history by those generations and civilizations whom have come before us...This vice ( Greed ) will follow us though out our journey and will plague our societies until the ending days of man.
