Sen. Ted Cruz: These are the Fahrenheit 451 Democrat

The Senate is voting to repeal the 1st Amendment right.  Never in the United States history has Congress voted to take away the free speech of United State citizens.  Does Congress have the power to change the Bill of Rights? Wouldn't it have to be ratified by 2/3 of the states?  Has our federal government gone power hungry insane?
