So

He sent His only Son to sacrifice

Upon the alter of this sinful world,

And those who do believe He paid the price

Will have salvation's standard thus unfurled.

For God so loved the world He gave His Son

To take upon His perfect soul all sin,

To suffer horribly, His flesh undone,

Then die upon the cross, all broken in.

O sister, think of how God loved you so!

He gave His only Son to set you free.

O brother, think of how God loved you so!

His Son both bled and died on Calvary.

            You are so precious this He did for you;

            Believe He loved you so, you'll live anew.
