"America's Ongoing Fall"
It is truly depressing to see America's decline
And it is so annoying when we hear Obama whine
Each scandal that erupts he reacts with such surprise
It's never his fault when anything goes wrong
It's always the same refrain. Always the same old song
The world around us is crumbling and our country along with it
This administration that's in charge acts like a crime syndicate
The political opposition is demeaned and so thoroughly intimidated
They suffer much impunity and this cannot be overstated
Stonewalling by this bunch impedes Congressional investigations
Their lies and mistruths cannot keep up with all the accusations
Congress requests emails from Lois Lerner, that nefarious looking
witch
Suddenly we are told her emails have been lost due to a computer
glitch
This is what we are up against. This group so trained in Chicago
politics
They are insidious souls who are deceptive in using their bags of
tricks
They are utterly relentless in their determination to hold on to
power
Such an evil cabal we have in the White House. We can't help but
cower
There is nothing the Republicans can do. They and we are at their
mercy
A complete surrender to their hideous agenda continues unabated in DC
