My
mother once told me: "I complained because I had no shoes,
until
I saw a man with no feet."
Gratitude
turns stones into jewels, hags into beauties,
It
is always available to you.
Use
gratitude whenever you feel a grumble coming on.
You
can never wear it out or use it up.
Gratitude
is the gift that softens hearts, soothes furrowed brows,
refines
the soul.
There
is always something to be grateful for, my friend.
Always.
"What if I fall out of an
airplane?"
Be grateful you have a parachute.
"But what if I have no
parachute?"
Be grateful you will feel no pain
upon impact,
and be grateful you will be in the
presence of the Lord soon.
"But what if I know I'm going
to hell?"
Be grateful you have just enough
time
to repent and accept Jesus as your
Savior.
Give
thanks to God, for He is Good; His Mercy lasts forever. [i]
Give
thanks in everything, for this is God's will for you in Jesus. [ii]
Practice
carrying gratitude in your heart.
It
will help you redefine your priorities.
You will think more of God and less
of you.
It
will reduce stress in your life.
Anxiety cannot live under the same
roof as thankfulness.
It
will stretch your heart to hold more love.
Gratitude builds upon itself.
The universe is too small to contain
it all.
Even
give thanks to your misfortune; it can always be worse.
If
you have no shoes
be
grateful you can feel mud between your toes,
be
grateful you have feet to help you go,
be
grateful you've a God that knows,
be
grateful, and let your gratitude show.
