Mothers

Today we honor our mothers,

whether they be ours or another's.

We should praise all that they do

for they have certainly paid their dues.

They work twice as hard as men,

most in half the time again.

A mother brought life to you and me,

raised us up and then set us free.

Be grateful for Mothers today,

take them to dinner with a bouquet.

Mothers are rare treasures sent from God;

all that they do should leave us awed.

They clothed and fed and then wiped our faces;

they nursed all our wounds and drove us places.

Their love from the cradle

made us strong and able.

With a mother's sweet song,

nothing can go wrong.

Without mothers we wouldn't be here.

every day we should hold them so dear.
