The government is actually violating their own Constitution!

This short movie challenges equality taken to a stricter level. Reading the short story was even sadder though, leaving the images of the world to ourselves. Also all jobs on this era are based on your weaknesses. Since I am terrible at sports, I'd be forced into taking a sports carrer since I'm in the avg. zone. If I took a designer's job, the goverment would never allow it since I'm good at designing. Like how the ballerinas have to wear weights so they never dance better than the others, and wear masks to cover their beauty. This era strips away nearly everything that makes you different from everyone else. If I lost my smart mind, my artisic sense, all my personailty will melt away. "That's not fair", is what some people say, if everything-no, if the WORLD was fair, THIS is what it'll be.
The horrifying dystopian society portrayed in this film captures the natural end result of Liberal (Progressive) "fairness" and "equality" mantras when carried out to their logical conclusions.
