I think too many Christians are resigned to think they just have to accept what is coming, that we can't turn things around...which maybe we can't. They think the Rapture is going to happen and we can do nothing to stop it. And in a few discussions, I tell them I don't think God wants us to just sit back and take this from our government, because in essence, we are being wussies letting government become our god and God said to have no other gods before Him! That usually gets silence. I also try to impress upon them that there are have been other dictators (like Mussolini, Stalin, and especially Hitler) who seemed to be fulfilling Biblical prophecy preceding the anti-Christ entering onto the scene, but it did not happen...and look at what happened to all those Jews. They also say that they know if we are in the end times, which they believe we are, they will have to endure taunting, persecution, and even death, but I tell them to remember that while so many of the prophecies have been fulfilled, God's time vs. our time is different....and it could be a 100 years yet of our time in comparison to what just 100 years is in His time....which is just a nano-second of a moment of eternity if that. I just don't think he wants us to sit by and let this happen because we know He's coming soon for us....that while the rapture might very well happen in our lifetime, it also might not when thinking how horrible Hitler was that the rest of the world stopped with lots of thanks to our country that was still being richly blessed because they weren't trying to eliminate Him from schools and everywhere else yet. But even though things are far worse, maybe we have only seen the tip of the iceberg (or hell) before the Rapture occurs. Am I wrong? They seem to act like it.
