Dear Friends,
In America, no one is supposed to be above the law. Especially not
Congress. The same laws that apply to the American people are supposed to apply
to them.
But, tell
that to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is allowing some
staffers to keep their health insurance instead of making them buy it through an
ObamaCare exchange, although he was one of the strongest Capitol Hill supporters
of the 2010 law.
So, let's get this straight: Harry Reid helped push through ObamaCare, over
the vociferous objections of the American people. He wants you to live under
the terrible consequences of this mistaken law, but not his staff.
Outrageous.
Congress has already benefited from special treatment, being insulated from
premium hikes while purchasing their health care plans on the exchanges. Reid's
extra-special treatment for his staff just accentuates what is so wrong about
ObamaCare.
Congress should NOT be exempt from ObamaCare.
