Can We Have a Do-Over? Updated

As “more bad poll numbers continue to pour in for President Barack Obama,” a Washington Post/ABC News poll finds that if the 2012 election were re-run today, Mitt Romney would beat Barack Obama among registered voters by 49%-45%.
That result reflects, of course, buyer’s remorse over Obamacare. But it also raises the question: how might the 2012 election have been different if the press had not collaborated with the Obama administration to cover up the true nature of Obamacare? Or, for that matter, if the Romney campaign had been more effective in attacking Obamacare, for example by pointing out that the Obama administration itself projected that the law would cause more than half of all Americans enrolled in employer-sponsored plans to lose their health insurance?
