Dear Friends and Patriots ,
All across the country, Americans are beginning to finally experience life
under ObamaCare. The experience has mostly featured website failures, letters
informing them their insurance plans won't be offered next year, premium
increases, higher taxes, and so on.
That's why we've created a bipartisan petition for a one year delay
of ObamaCare at www.ObamaCareTimeout.com.
National Review founder William F. Buckley, Jr., once described
modern conservatives as "liberals who have been mugged by reality." If that's
the case, ObamaCare is mugging a lot of people right now. People
like Cindy Vinson and Tom Waschura of California:
Cindy Vinson and Tom Waschura are big believers in
the Affordable Care Act. They vote independent and are proud to say they helped
elect and re-elect President Barack Obama.
Yet, like many other Bay Area
residents who pay for their own medical insurance, they were floored last week
when they opened their bills: Their policies were being replaced with pricier
plans that conform to all the requirements of the new health care
law.
Vinson, of San Jose, will pay $1,800 more a year for an individual
policy, while Waschura, of Portola Valley, will cough up almost $10,000 more for
insurance for his family of four.
The "Affordable Care Act" doesn't seem so affordable, does it?
Ms. Vinson sums it up well later in this story:
"Of course, I want people to have health care,"
Vinson said. "I just didn't realize I would be the one who was going to pay for
it personally."
Welcome to ObamaCare.
What can you do to stop this madness? Start with two easy steps:
1) Sign the petition at www.ObamaCareTimeout.com
2) Click
here to forward this email to your friends and family and
ask them to sign, too
As the reality of ObamaCare starts setting in, our movement will continue to
grow.
Sincerely,
