The Rule Of Law Is Dead

From IS OBAMA'S DECK STACKED AGAINST US?  "There are five forms of redress of grievances by the "people" to government. 1) Petition the legislative branch of government either directly or by votes; 2) Bring court actions to defend and uphold our individual constitutional rights; 3) Engage in massive protests at the foot of government's door; 4) Civil disobedience and defiance of unconstitutional law and finally 5) armed revolution."


We are in stage 3, rapidly closing on 4, and sadly headed into stage 5.
How can the citizenry continue to have faith in the law & legal system when the government so openly flouts it. The internet is rife with examples of his majesty, er, Obama's flouting of the law.  

The obscene granting of waivers for the implementation of the so called ACA is the latest and most blatant. The way he handled the bailouts in the beginning of his first term gave us all the information we needed to see that this administration would be a crony's dream.
In the "restructuring" he put the unions, who fared quite well, ahead of the bondholders, who should have been first in line and then the shareholders--both of whom lost everything. More on that here

Which brings us back to where the citizenry stands.  When all seems to be going to Hades, what is there left to lose. Unfortunately, many, including me, feel that the administration is actively pushing us toward insurrection so as to have the excuse to crack down and implement martial law. Yes, I know we defeated the strongest military force on the planet in the American Revolution. Well, we had the same weapons the British did. That is most definitely not the case now. All of our guns, automatic weapons, hiding places, etc. will not shield us from the technological behemoth known as the US military. Perhaps that is why so many top generals are being purged--their loyalty to "The One" is in doubt. How many have been fired on trumped up charges?  A partial list of the purge is here

It seems as though the deck is truly stacked against us.  The question is, where will we go from here?
