Democrats and the White House want to put the blame for the shutdown of the Federal Government on the House Republicans, especially those who align themselves with the Tea Party. (I wonder if "blame" is the correct word – perhaps praise would be better?)
At the center of the debate is President Obama's landmark legislation "The Affordable Health Care Act" (a.k.a. ObamaCare).
What I find incredibly arrogant and self-serving, coming from the Democrat spin doctors (and their willing accomplices in the media), are the facts surrounding the passage of this legislation and their short term memory of the shenanigans they had to employ in order to ram through the two thousand plus page law (which no one read, butNancy Pelosi claims they did) in order to get it to the President's desk for his signature.
Lest we forget, ObamaCare was not (and still is not) popular with the American people. Every poll declared this truth. But the Dem's won the presidency in 2008 and already had control of the House and the Senate since 2006. Elections, we were told, had consequences.
