What if…what if ObamaCare really isn't the sinister Trojan Horse program many conservatives fear? What if it's not that at all…what if...it's worse?
You may well be asking, "What could be worse than ObamaCare?" I will open your eyes to that in a couple minutes. First, let's check up on the latest with the law and its online store front, healthcare.gov.
The government-run website supposedly set up to help people browse and shop for "affordable" health insurance is still a mind-numbing mega-mess. And now the masterminds in the Obama administration are calling in the A-team of techies to try to fix it, so they say. Finally, the really smart web guys are on the job. Meaning more money, more time. Yeah, after the masterminds reportedly spent many hundreds of millions of our tax dollars on a web portal that could hardly have been designed to be more of a disaster. And keep that in mind, as we continue.
For the folks who are able to use healthcare.gov to check out all the health insurance options, hold on, the rainbow unicorn has turned into a dirty donkey. CBS News is now reporting that the prices these enrollees are given are not accurate - far from accurate - astonishingly inaccurate, in fact. What the ObamaCare website presents as the cost of a policy, says CBS News, is often way below what the policy would actually cost, in the real world. Can you say, "bait and switch"? Can you say, "false advertising"?
Can you believe how sloppy, how messy, how bizarrely reckless this whole online enterprise, healthcare.gov, is proving to be? Seriously, the ObamaCare rollout has been so botched, the President's promises about O'Care so broken, the fantasy of fairytale free healthcare so shattered by reality, one must ask, "Is there any real effort to make ObamaCare work"? The question we've been raising for months, "Was ObamaCare every truly intended to be a successful way to help uninsured Americans get affordable, quality health care?"
More and more Americans - hundreds of thousands - are losing their health coverage, getting notices of policy cancellation. More and more hospitals are desperately searching for ways to stay in business. More and more once starry-eyed ObamaCare supporters are becoming disillusioned. And more and more media outlets - even Left-leaning ones - are either questioning the law are outright bashing it. Well, you get the point: ObamaCare, by all sorts of measures, is falling apart.
So, why doesn't Obama seem more distressed at the collapse of his signature legislation? Why doesn't Obama fill the White House with every imaginable expert on website development, health insurance, healthcare policy, marketing and advertising, public relations for non-stop efforts to at least recover some credibility? Well, what if…
What if ObamaCare, with all its "promise" and peril, what if it's really a diversion, in military terms what's called a "feint" - a tactical distraction intended to divert attention from the real point of attack. Like a train wreck - a spectacular, fiery train wreck that draws our attention, our passion, our energy. A train wreck that's intended to draw our fire and deplete the resources we need to keep fighting. And, when it erupts in a giant fireball, gives us a false sense of victory over the ObamaStein monster.
What if… while we're all so focused on the ObamaCare debacle at the front door of our house of liberty, the real culprits are sneaking in the back door, in fact swarming in the back door and all the windows. Well, friends, that appears to be what's happening.
There are a handful of Obama-blessed, Soros- and government-supported organizations spreading across the country like a virus…preparing us for auto-enrollment in the successor to ObamaCare, the sone of ObamaStein.
Auto-enrollment, where people already on government rolls for welfare, food stamps, disability, federal student loans, are about to be auto-enrolled in a government-controlled health system, through a shadowy network of non-profits funded by almost all the major players in health care, from insurance companies to pharmaceutical giants to radical community activist groups.
Got your attention? Good. Much more to come in future reports and on libertynews.com.
