When Derek Jeter comes to bat for the New York Yankees during a televised game, enough statistics appear beneath his name to let viewers know everything but his shoe-size. Batting average, batting average with runners in scoring position, playoff batting average, height, weight, years in the league, and fielding percentage, etc. That statistical flash is common to other sports as well, so I have a very basic question: why is that same statistical data-base not used every time a politician is looking for face-time and running their mouths during an interview?
For instance, it is well documented that in the class of clowns from 2007, then- Senators Obama, Clinton, Kerry, Biden, McCain and Hagel opposed vociferously the recommendations of President Bush with respect to imposing severe sanctions on Syria’s Assad for human rights abuses, but now they, with the exception of Hillary in Hiding, are all in lock-step saying our country must respond militarily under the War Act, trying to sell the need to do so because what is going on in Syria affects our national security.
As an aside, why is the word “sell” being used? What happened to “leadership”?
I’m a little slow, so maybe someone can explain that one to me. The little meathead in North Korea just had his ex-girlfriend and 12 others machine-gunned to death last week and insisted their families watch, and, while tragic and senseless, I’m surprised Obama doesn’t feel that is a threat to national security as well.
The problem with this administration and its “watch the birdie” routine is that it has successfully deflected attention away from its ineptitude once again, and don’t be at all surprised, with or without Congressional approval if Obama doesn’t empty the chamber on 9/11. The time to have been involved with Assad is like a train that left the depot years ago, so expending military assets at this time under the guise of national security is akin to selling ice to an Eskimo; they wouldn’t want it, and we shouldn’t spend the time trying to sell it. But, look what this teenage-mind has captured: everyone’s attention. Look at how all the other scandals have almost magically disappeared. No more NSA, Snowden, IRS, Gun-Running, Eric Holder, or Benghazi in the news cycle.
We no longer are discussing the economy, which is like looking at a pumpkin balanced on three toothpicks. If that visual doesn’t work for you, I’ll break it down further: it’s not sturdy, and that is a positive assessment, because in reality it’s about to collapse. On October 1st the implementation of Obamacare is to commence, and to break that down just a bit further if there are any MTV generation readers of this piece (doubtful) THAT is when the taxation begins.
Obama tried to ad-lib when he landed in Sweden, talking around everything without a teleprompter, halting, stuttering, saying nothing, and waxing about his vision for creating jobs. That’s pretty obtuse, hearing it from a guy who’s never had a job, and then he exacerbated the perception that he is pathological by nature by declaring he never talked about crossing the red line and “projected” it back on the world as having been its suggestion instead of his. That’s the funny thing about digitized video, Barry. We can replay your own words for you and then ask, what is wrong with you? I mean, Hillary at least came up with the ruse that she bumped her head, but, the rumors about your medication levels are starting to make sense, El Presidente.
Now, back to the massive taxation, euphemistically known as Obamacare.
We don’t know how it will be administered, we don’t know how it will be accessed, we don’t know how the exchanges are to work beginning October 1st, but we know for certain there are 16,000 new IRS agents, armed and dangerous and ready to collect our money. Who’s on First. What’s on Second, and I Don’t Know is on Third. The whole idea with respect to understanding the stock market is anticipating what will happen down the road and not dwelling on what’s happening today.
Let’s take a look down that road. The taxation game is about to commence, and will be like a vortex that sucks the life out of growth and industry. Make no mistake, the tax will hit from everywhere, yet nobody fully comprehends from where, but rest assured the government didn’t hire 16,000 additional IRS agents so that small to large corporations get a free pass. So, when Obama lands in Sweden and inexplicably starts talking about growing jobs in America (pure Loony Tunes—————-it was an international forum for crying out loud and not a campaign stop) he displayed a total lack of understanding and betrayed his utter robotic idiocy.
Mr. President. You’re about to engage in the G-20 summit, you’re threatening to attack Syria under the guise of our national security, the eyes of the world are upon you, and you start blabbering about creating jobs in America right at the precipice of having the largest tax increase in the history of the world. Talk about a lack of comprehension. You actually do not understand the very words coming out of your own mouth, and the world is no longer snickering. It’s laughing out loud.
It’s well documented that I am an advocate for some former presidents and not much of a fan of others, but even the dumb ones like Carter and Clinton had a grasp of strategy and understood that certain actions would trigger reactions, which necessitated a plan for action thereafter. It’s called logic, of which you have none. Think it through. There’s been civil unrest in Syria for years. Your former Secretary of State helped you facilitate Muslim Brotherhood footholds in Egypt and Libya, and now you think it’s a good idea to attack Assad under the assumption that it affects our national security. Let’s return to the idea of “logic”. That obviously is a subject upon which you have no conception whatsoever. The “opposition” to Assad, is once again a combination of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Al Qaeda, and probably some radicals of which we’ve never heard.
You must be on drugs, or are working for foreign interests.
It’s unnatural and borders on strange science to accept a president as credible who informs an enemy that he’s going to bomb their country in a couple weeks. Does that strike anyone as a strategy? Does it sound cogent or coherent? Does it even make any sense? NO. It is the sign of a man so out of his depth that he’s struggling for oxygen, nearly frantically throwing crap at the wall and desperate that some of it sticks so as not to attract a mandatory examination as to everything else he has done wrong.
That is the Obama Presidency in a nutshell. The international snickers transformed into giggles, and now are out-and-out guffaws. And while the president has shamed the country and continues to do so daily on the international stage, there is a Congress which enables this stupidity to continue, led in the House by Boot-Licking-Boehner.
The NSA listening most definitely has compromised him and made him fall in line with Obama, and it also caught a Supreme Court justice in its web.
Or maybe Justice Roberts was just having an out-of-body experience when he decided to ignore the Constitution and approve Obamacare as law.
