African-Americans Escape “Plantation” in Louisiana, Democrats Fight To Get Them Back – Not a Repeat from 1847

There is one thing the Democratic party can’t stand and that’s an African-American who doesn't tow the line. And if they get out of line, meaning they don’t carry the progressive water, then Democrats will fight to get them back in line, even if that means hurting them.

NINE OF 10 Louisiana children who receive vouchers to attend private schools are black. All are poor and, if not for the state assistance, would be consigned to low-performing or failing schools with little chance of learning the skills they will need to succeed as adults. So it’s bewildering, if not downright perverse, for the Obama administration to use the banner of civil rights to bring a misguided suit that would block these disadvantaged students from getting the better educational opportunities they are due.
“Bewildering?”

This guy got an education, and now look at him.
Hardly. What did Democrats do to keep slaves on the plantation before?
Fearing that black literacy would prove a threat to the slave system — which relied on slaves’ dependence on masters — whites in many colonies instituted laws forbidding slaves to learn to read or write and making it a crime for others to teach them.
There’s a reason why Democrats like Holder and Obama don’t want black students going to good schools.
They might get educated.
And if they get educated, they might realize the damage Democrats have done to the black community since, well, forever.
Roughly 86 percent of students in the voucher program came from schools that were rated D or F. Mr. White called ironic using rules to fight racism to keep students in failing schools; we think it appalling.
Louisiana parents are clamoring for the choice afforded by this program; the state is insisting on accountability; poor students are benefiting. The federal government should get out of the way.
We could apply that sentence to so many different topics and the truth would hold out. The government is in the way.
