WHY Don't Liberals Ever 'get it'?

I stumbled upon a great article that I will paraphrase and excerpt from that expalins "WHY Liberals are so Stupid"...but as we begin let me say we Conservatives don't think Liberals are stupid in the sense of knowing nothing, uneducated, illiterate and incapable of learning... no, many Liberals are very educated with high IQs and in are very learned and literate...it is just that what they believe is so dangerously WRONG. I will deal with the "Liberals think Conservatives are evil" part toward the end.

Even liberals who've accomplished a lot in their lives and have high IQs often say things on a regular basis that are stunningly, profoundly stupid and at odds with the way the world works. Modern liberalism has become so bereft of common sense and instinctually suicidal that America can only survive over the long haul by thwarting the liberal agenda. In fact, liberalism has become such a toxic and poisonous philosophy that most liberals wouldn't behave differently if their goal were to deliberately destroy the country. So, how does liberalism cause well-meaning, intelligent liberals to get this way? Well, it starts with...
1) Liberalism creates a feedback loop.
It is virtually impossible for a non-Liberal to ever to change a Liberal's mind on any issue because ONLY Liberals are a credible source. No matter how many facts, studies, and how much reality supports your issue(s)...it's not from a Liberal source so it must be wrong.
2) Liberals sources of information are ever present.
They don't even have to try to find a Liberal source the MSM and Hollywood have Liberal sources and views everywhere, WE Conservatives have to work to avoid them! But for a Liberal to find a Conservative source (IF they'd even care enough to look) they have to dig for it, and that tells a Liberal that "It must NOT be true then".
3) Liberals emphasize feeling superior, not superior results.
With a Liberal it's style OVER substance,
Rhetoric OVER results,
Intent OVER reality.
As long as they 'feel' good about it then they're "o.k.".
4) Liberals are big believers in moral relativism.
To the Liberal nothing is really, absolutely right,
and nothing is really, absolutely wrong,
there is "NO Absolute Truth" (which is itself AN Absolute Truth!).
Liberals take "non-judge-a-mentalism" to the extreme paralyses the Liberal because they fixate on "why do they hate us?" because they are incapable of saying "That's Wrong" and then do something about it. To a Liberal the ONLY wrong is anything NOT Liberal, and the ONLY thing right is Liberalism.
5) Liberals tend to view people as parts of groups, not individuals.
Liberals divide into groups of victims to exploit victimhood. They are shocked when an INDIVIDUAL from a group they deem "victims" can rise above it all that is (supposedly) against them and achieve great things like a Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Walter E. Williams, Ben Carson, Starr Parker, Herman Cain, Allen West...to a Liberal it "had to be" because of all the Liberal programs and give-aways like affirmative action, welfare, quotas...because, certainly that group of INDIVIDUALS could not achieve it without the "help" of Liberalism.
6) Liberals take a dim view of personal responsibility.
Who's at fault if a criminal commits a crime? The criminal or society? If someone creates a business and becomes a millionaire, is that the result of hard work and talent or luck? If you're dirt poor, starving, and haven't worked in 5 years, is that a personal failing or a failure of the state? Conservatives would tend to say the former in each case, while liberals would tend to say the latter. But when you disconnect what an individual does from the results that happen in his life, it's very difficult to understand cause and effect in people's lives.
7) Liberals give themselves far too much credit just for being liberal.
To many liberals, all one needs to do to be wise, intelligent, compassionate, open minded, and sensitive is to BE LIBERAL.
Yep. That's it.
You can NOT possibly be anything good unless you're a Liberal.
