Catholic Writer . . . Shows How Bishops Are Wrong On “Immigration”



  Major crafters of the U.S. Senate’s current “Gang of Eight” immigration bill have altered their emphasis. They’re expressing eagerness for the U.S. House just to come up with some kind of immigration bill of its own that can go to conference committee and be “worked on” by House-Senate conferees.
Conservatives and border protectors fear that liberals and “moderates” in the committee wouldsimply strip out any good House language and produce a result much like the Senate’s current massive amnesty-and-pork legislation.

The result then would be sent to the Democrat-controlled Senate for assured approval, as well as expected House approval when most if not all of the Democratic minority unites behind it, as well as a fewnecessary House Republicans. Continue Reading.....
