Allow me to state the point as plainly as possible: If Barack Obama shuts down the government over the defunding of ObamaCare, then SO BE IT. That's not just my opinion. A recent poll commissioned by Tea Party Patriots indicates that Americans (not just Republicans, or Tea Party members, but ALL AMERICANS) actually support a temporary shutdown of the government to stop the implementation of ObamaCare by a margin of 48 to 39 percent.

The American people do not want ObamaCare implemented under any circumstances and parading GOP elites before the television cameras to "instruct" the American people on why allowing Barack Obama to shutdown the government over the defunding ObamaCare is a bad idea isn't going to change any hearts or any minds. No one is fooled by the "shutdown narrative."

If you foolishly believe that the American people will blame you for a government shutdown, allow me to disabuse you of that notion here and now. The American people will blame you if ObamaCare is implemented after you promised time and again to do everything in your power to defund and repeal it.

It is time to draw a line in the sand. It is time for congressional Republicans to take a stand for once on behalf of the American people.

Stop capitulating. Stop giving the American people lip service. Stop holding token repeal votes and stop looking for excuses not to do what the American people want. Defund ObamaCare... PERIOD!
