Today the Lone Star state still fights to pass the 20 weeks abortion restriction bill...but yesterdays announcement by still a very much loved Governor has another stir heard across the state as well. The picture above is what our Governor Rick Perry was and looked when he first saddled up to come to Austin as the elected Democrat Representative of his family farms district in Haskell County, Texas...what we call the Big Empty because it is miles and miles of rural farm land and ranches. It's dry land and recieves little rainfall annually. But, then the young Perry was nothing but empty...he was full of fight then to change the landscape of Texas politics heading progressive from years of the same, corruption and cronyism... to what it has become today, a well working and efficient limited government of fiscal and social conservatism...
