Allen West Goes Off On Obama: ‘Usurper,’ ‘Charlatan’

Former Florida Congressman (and all around good guy) Allen West used the occasion of Independence Day week to share not only on his opinion of the state of America under Barack Obama, but on O as well.

As is normally the case, Colonel West didn't pull any punches in a post on his Facebook page:
“This week we’ll celebrate the 237th anniversary of our independence. But are we a free people? … Obama said he would fundamentally transform America. The time draws near to teach this usurper and charlatan the lesson our forefathers taught King George III.We will not be ruled by arrogance and edict.”
Ouch. While West expressed his dismay with the Supreme Court’s “ill-conceived ruling” on gay marriage, he was particularly concerned with the recent announcement – which I covered Saturday – that California school children are being trained as “messengers” who will be expected to “educate” their parents on ObamaCare.
“In California we have a state-funded grant for the Los Angeles Unified School District to abuse the concept of public education by turning public schools into indoctrination factories, forcing children to spout the joys of ObamaCare. The district listed as a primary outcome for its project: ‘Teens trained to be messengers to family members.’”
West, who lost his House seat last year in a controversial recount, is considering challenging Marco Rubio for his Senate seat in 2016. Given Rubio’s position on immigration – which has alienated him from many conservatives – a West candidacy would be appealing to a large number of them.
While West’s political future is unknown, one thing is abundantly clear: Colonel Allen West will continue to speak his mind – openly and honestly – with little regard as to may be offended by his opinions and positions, including the “Usurper” of the United States.
