Obama Care For Young People

ObamaCare's Full Court Press on Young People

Dear Friends and Patriots,

There may be only one game left in this year's NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs, but don't expect the full court press to be going away any time soon.
Of course we're not talking about a basketball court in this case. We're talking about the full court press on young people to buy into ObamaCare and buy the pricey government-approved health insurance purchase necessary to subsidize people who are older and less healthy.

Let's just say that, especially in this economy where many young people are emerging from college with loads of student loan debt and few job prospects, it's going to be a tough sell:
[Healthy adults today spend an average of $854 a year on health care.  ObamaCare would require them to buy insurance policies expected to cost roughly $5,800. The law, then, isn't just asking them to pay for "the services that they are going to consume," [Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito] added. "The mandate is forcing these people to provide a huge subsidy to the insurance companies . . . to subsidize services that will be received by somebody else."
Interestingly enough, this full court press on Americans to buy into ObamaCare could actually be coming from the NBA.  No, really.  We're not kidding:
Could LeBron James be the next spokesman for Obamacare? The Obama administration has reached out to the NBA about a potential marketing partnership to promote the health law, POLITICO has learned. ... The NBA season’s calendar tracks closely with the six-month period during which Americans have a chance to sign up for subsidized insurance around the country — beginning on Oct. 1. And NBA fans fit key demographics targeted by supporters of the health law.
Where's a referee to call a foul when you need one?
Right now, it's important that Americans of all ages, and especially young Americans who will be feeling the most pressure from these efforts, continue to to hear the truth about ObamaCare and how this government take-over of our personal and private health care decisions will harm them.
We've compiled the top claims about how proponents of the law say that it will help young people and we've answered those bogus claims with the truth.
Sharing the truth will continue to build momentum for full and complete repeal of ObamaCare.
                                                               Sincerely,
