The Leftists Rush to Judgment
The
explosives used in the Boston Marathon twin attacks were six liter pressure
cookers packed with explosives and hidden in duffel bags. They also contained
metal scraps, nails and ball bearings.
The
plans for making this type of bomb were also found with the Fort Hood bomber
Naser Abdo and could be found in an online Al Qaeda magazine.
What
does this mean? Absolutely nothing. It may in fact be just a coincidence and
there may be no international affiliation whatsoever.
As
of this evening, there are no suspects that we know of. No one or group has come
forward to claim responsibility. It may turn out to be a lone wolf lunatic.
Whether he or she is a lone wolf, it's a good bet he or she is a lunatic.
A
Saudi national, was thought to be a suspect or person of interest, but it's
looking like he was not involved.
So
to date we have no suspects and no motive - other than to wreak havoc, which it
did.
That
being said, one would think at a time of crisis cooler heads might prevail. This
unfortunately is not the case.
As
it did just after the Colorado movie theater shootings, the left did what they
do; blame the right, the tea party, et al.
Leftist
hack David Axelrod explained on MSNBC: "I'm sure what was going through the
president's mind is - we really don't know who did this - it was tax day. Was it
someone who was pro-… ya know - you just don't know?"
Someone
who was pro-what Dave? Hmmm, I wonder? If you watch the video of Axelrod, you'll
see he stopped himself rather abruptly. I don't assume to know what he was
thinking, but I could guess.
The
Sage of the left Chris Matthews said: "normally domestic terrorists, people,
tend to be on the far right." Oh do they Chris? He went on to explain that the
explosion at the Kennedy Center was an attack on, "a modern political figure of
the Democratic Party. Does that tell you something?"
It
tells me that Chris Matthews is a myopic flaming leftist that probably blames
the right when the weather report is incorrect.
And
then there's the taxing Queen, Barney Fwank, whose big government advocacy knows
no bounds or sense. He claimed that: "I never was as a member of Congress, one
of the cheerleaders for less government, lower taxes. No tax cut would ever have
helped us deal with this or will help us recover…" Sheeesh, sounds like Clinton:
“ No personal attack ever fed a hungry child."
Shameless!
This tragedy knows no political affiliation, no religion or ethnicity. Bombs
don't care who they blow up. The responders, both public and private citizen
alike didn’t care about those things either. Those who rushed in to help are
heroes. They never asked what political affiliation or religion any of the
victims belonged to.
We
know nothing about the attackers, as of yet, other than he, she or they are
evil.
Cooler
heads should prevail and the political rock throwers should be ostracized
regardless of who they are.
My
greatest fear going forward, other than a repeat of this attack at another venue
is this. How much more of our liberty will be lost due to this tragedy?
Will
unseemly politicians whip up the low information public enough for them to
demand more security at the cost of liberty? Will there be attempts at bad,
knee-jerk legislation?
Remember
the words of Ben Franklin (1755) as he wrote: "Those who would give up essential
liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor
safety."
