Intro.
I was reading the newest “Time” magazine. I had a break at work, and I do like to keep appraised of what The Enemy is up to so as to stop as much of their agenda as possible.As I read I got mad…madder than usual. Then I slowed down and asked some questions, re-read the articles and here is what I found:
First Things First: Layout the List of Article(s).
On “Time’s” cover was this: “An Army Apart:45,000 Troops are Coming Home to a Country That Doesn’t Know Them”. The article is written by Mark Thompson.
I went to the table of contents to find the article, I found Mark Thompsons’ article, only on the content’s page it was titled:
“The True Elite: Never has the Divide Between The U.S. Public and the Military Been So Wide- or So Troublesome”.
The article was on page 34. So I turned to page 34…much to my surprise Mark Thompson had a 3rd title for his article there: “The Other 1%”. An obvious reference to OWS’ 99% vs the 1%.
The Break-down.
“Time’s” cover reveals several things. One) NOT many Liberals go into the Military, Two) NOT many Liberals know people in the Military, Three) Liberals do NOT like the Military.Why do I say that? Because I guarantee you that all 45,000 of those soldiers ARE coming home to family, friends, communities and a host of Patriots that love and support them 100%. The fact that Mark Thompson says what he does shows that he knows little-to-NOTHING of the REAL America. In his article Mark “interviews” a select 2-3 troops, (not a very large cross-section of America there Mark). Liberals don’t run in the same circles as the 99% (Real Americans). They have a detachment from the real world based on their ideology, which is a Liberalism rooted in Marxist-Socialism, Fabiannism, Fascism and Progressivism. They venture out and ask a small sampling of whatever group their newest article is about, find an “expert” who says what fits their version of reality and then make utterly bogus conclusions based on that bogus data from their bogus reality.
America’s Troops come home to family, friends and a community of Patriots that love and support them. We may not understand all our Veterans have been through and what they are going through, but we stand with them and are there for them. During Vietnam it was Liberals in the media and on the college campuses that spewed their vitriol at our Troops, often led by LIBERALS who had been in the military themselves, like John Kerry, Jack Murtha and Al Gore. But I was around then. I lived in “Heart-Land, USA”. We WELCOMED OUR BOYS HOME…proudly.
Then Mark Thompsons’ assertion that there is a “big, troublesome divide” between “The U.S. Public” and “The returning Troops”…is 100% on it’s face bogus, wrong and shows truly that Liberals know NOTHING of The Real America at all!
I’ve been out to eat several times when Military personnel was present- and their tab was picked up by an appreciative, thankful citizen. I have countless times seen troops of every branch be present and have total strangers come up to them and thank them for all they do. Many, many resteraunts, cafes and even fast food joints on Veteran’s Day gave FREE meals to Veterans. Church after church has special services in honor of our troops on every Patriotic/Military themed holiday. For Thanksgiving and Christmas there are drives and benefits to raise money, get food & clothing and pay the bills of our Military…Mark Thompson, you need to get out more.
Liberals “think” that just because they have little hands-on-up-close-and-personal experience with America’s fine Military that the rest of America is equally handicapped. The disdain, and blaming, and loathing that Liberals have for the Military and for our Troops is what motivates them to think that everyone will view and treat our troops like they do.
I still remember that Bill Clinton wrote a Colonel in OUR Military from Europe (Clinton was dodging the draft) and said “I LOATHE The Military”!! Clinton said THAT to an officer IN the Military!! And the Liberals in the MSM, Congress, Hollywood and academia ate that up and defended it against us “evil, Conservative Patriots”.
But it’s not just in regards to the military that Liberals have left the “Reality Reservation”. Nope. Liberals are in every way possible detached from Reality.
Liberals think you can “tax your way to prosperity”.
Liberals think you can “spend your way out of debt”.
Liberals think that a 15 year GLOBAL COOLING TREND is “Global Warming”.
Liberals think that 12th graders who are illiterate and can’t do math above a 3rd grade level is “education”.
Liberals think that outlawing ALL guns “will make America safer”.
Liberals think porn and profanity is “1st Amendment protected speech”.
Liberals think prayer and Bible reading are “forbidden by the 1st Amendment”.
Liberals think “government knows better” and that “Liberty is over-rated”.
IF America is to survive beyond 2012 we MUST utterly, devastatingly DEFEAT Liberals and Liberalism.America DESERVES Better.
