My name is Alex and this is my first post. I would like to ask that if I post something inaccurate, to please let me know. I am not interested in posting wrong information or falsehoods. I am also not here to start any arguments, so if you cant be civil feel free not to return to my blog. This is actually a re-post of something I wrote on another site shortly after the CT tradgedy:
Ok, I'm gonna get on my soap box here for a minute, and I mean no offense to anybody so if you get offended, I'm sorry. FIRST: My heart goes out to all the victims and their families, as well as all who responded to this tragedy. They will all be in my prayers. SECOND: Firearms are not bad. They are inanimate objects. They have no life or soul. They can do only one thing, and that is what they were designed to do, Shoot a bullet. Their inherent use is up to the individual who possesses the firearm. Someone who wants to cause pain and suffering will do it any way they can, be it with a gun, or a knife, or fire or whatever else. If guns kill people, the spoons make people fat, matches cause arson, and your car should be outlawed for DWI deaths. The key to firearm safety is education, discipline, and respect for what you are carrying. Again, I hope I have not offended anybody. God bless and good night.
