Ms. Annabel Park,
When you say money and power are held by the few are you suggesting Obama? If so, as an American whose family has been here since 1630 knows full well that it would take more than a few people who worship at the altar of money and power to destroy us. We do not yearn for freedom, we have it, so far, yet as I look at your photo a picture arises of Ling Ping, Madame Mao Tse Tung (or Mao Ze Dong according to the current spelling fashion), second wife to the Chairman Mao. She, like you, used the same platitudes, calling them what they are not, such as the "People's" Republic of China, telling them to reject money and power while that is all she was interested in. She too did not like "rugged individualism;" she masked her agenda similar to yours using such catch-phrases to instruct all people that being independent is wrong, greedy, selfish, and hurts the country. Madame Mao was a hypocrite like you. She blamed the rich and powerful for the problems in China even though she was the rich and powerful. She banned all cosmetics on pain of death while she wore wigs, cosmetics etc. Let's start rejecting untrue statements about a country I love. Those that worship at the alter of money are hypocrites, for they include the Liberals, Mr. and Mrs. Obama who claimed to be ordinary Americans, but in reality only associate with the Wall Street types and the rich unions bosses. The left paints a picture of greed in America when in fact they are the bloated government pigs that feed at the trough of American taxpayers. They give themselves big raises while every taxpayer will have reduced checks. The American government is broke! If you have not witnessed the small businesses closing doors, people out of work, those hungry for work lining up at job fairs, then you, like Madame Mao, are not blinded but have an agenda to fool the people. I hear the government is hiring liars; this would a good time to find an unethical job.
