One of the more interested statistics is that 2/3 of those surveyed said they would defy a law banning guns.
The exact question was:
If the government passed a law to take your guns, would you give up your guns or defy the law and
keep your guns?
Give up: 22%, Defy Law: 65%, Don’t Know: 13%
The poll’s responders identify themselves as 39% Democrat, 34% Republican, Other 23%.
The poll was conducted January 15-17, 2013 and included 1008 registered voters.
