Romney's 5-point plan

The Romney campaign is starting the week with a new TV ad that returns the GOP candidate's focus to the economic promises at the core of his national message: expanding trade, balancing the budget, boosting small businesses and changing the Obama administration's tax, health care and regulatory policies.
In fact, that list of promises is pretty much the whole ad, which appears aimed at rebuilding Mitt Romney's image as a job creator who can help regular people. Here's the script:
My plan is to help the middle class. Trade has to work for America. That means crack down on cheaters like China. It means open up new markets. Next, got to balance the budget. You’ve got to cut the deficit. You’ve got to stop spending more money than we take in. And finally, champion small business. Have tax policies, regulations, and healthcare policies that help small business. We put those in place, we’ll add 12 million new jobs in four years. I’m Mitt Romney and I approved this message.
The first eight words -- "My plan is to help the middle class" -- are the most telling ones in the ad. The commercial is also Romney's closest thing yet to a direct-to-camera spot, though the candidate is still looking slightly off-camera as he speaks to the viewer.

You can read the full plan here. The official title: Mitt Romney’s Plan for a Stronger Middle Class.
