Dear Informed Friends and Contributors,
After a week full of exciting political news, the reaction is often to relax. After all, the big news on Fast And Furious and Obamacare has broken, and it can feel like there's not much left for us activists to do. But don't be fooled: now is the moment to dig in and fight.
Obamacare (or should I say Obamatax) is now out of the hands of the courts, and is taking center stage in the presidential election. But it's up to us to keep the pressure on, and use the unpopularity of this unprecedented tax increase to throw Obama out of office. Eric Holder has been held in contempt of congress, but the battle over Fast And Furious is just hitting high gear. With Obama protecting his AG, and a White House protest being broken up by the Secret Service, we need to let Washington know that scandals like Fast And Furious won't be tolerated!
