While many Americans will be cooking out, enjoying family, remembering members of the military overseas and shooting fireworks Wednesday in celebration of America’s Independence from Great Britain, the federal government has shut down the annual pre-Independence Day fireworks show in the coastal town of Depoe Bay, Oregon.
According to Oregon Live, it seems apparent that the feds think more of migrating birds and possibly scaring them off with the noise than of patriotic Americans who remember what was sacrificed in the Revolutionary War in order to establish an independent nation. Cont.Reading
