Trump Asks Why Congress And Sessions Aren’t Investigating Hillary’s Crimes

We all support President Trump as he’s being attacked by the media and damn near everyone, but we all support Attorney General Jeff Sessions too.

We’re not happy that Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigations and he wanted to show no conflict of interest would hurt President Trump, but I don’t agree what Trump is doing to Sessions right now.

I agree with Trump 100 percent that Sessions should have never recused himself and should be very involved in possibly ending this Russian witch hunt but back in December, the President told the nation he wasn’t going after Hillary Clinton and nobody from his administration would either. This happened on 60 minutes.

So, the tweet he dropped on Twitter this morning is very confusing to me.

Is this giving Sessions the green light to go after Hillary after he said he wouldn’t in December. I need some clarity. Sessions is a great man and an even greater patriot. I would hate to see this rift get larger over this and the media pounce on it.

The president was storming Twitter on the same morning his son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner was speaking with Senate investigators on Capitol Hill. Ahead of that private testimony, Kushner released a statement denying any collusion with Russia.

But the president soon took a shot at congressional committees, as well as Sessions, for not looking into “Crooked Hillarys” supposed crimes.

“So why aren’t the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?” he said.

Trump’s tweet went a step further by invoking Sessions. It comes after Trump leveled harsh criticisms in a New York Times interview, calling Sessions’ recusal “very unfair to the president” and adding that he never would have appointed him attorney general had he known he would do so.

Some people will say Trump didn’t say the Attorney General couldn’t go after Hillary but then they are just using word symantics to justify their position. When the President speaks, he speaks for his administration. When you start allowing different departments to do their own thing, you’re asking for trouble.
