 Eminent Canadian Psychiatrist Dr. G. Brock Chisholm, cofounder of the World Federation for Mental Health, stated in 1945:

“We have swallowed all manner of poisonous certainties fed us by our parents, our Sunday and Day School teachers; our politicians; our priests; our newspapers; and others with a vested interest in controlling us.” Satan told Adam and Eve, “Thou shalt become as gods knowing good and evil” with which to keep children under control to prevent free thinking. They impose national and local loyals to blind children to their glorious intellectual heritage.

The results are frustration, inferiority, inability to enjoy living, to reason clearly and to make the world fit to live in. Chisholm claimed that if the race is to be freed of its crippling burden of good and evil it must be psychiatrists who take the original responsibility. 

Psychiatry set the stage for the progressive contamination of religion with coercive and godless dogmas and ultimately the emergence of the transcendent “MENTAL HEALTH STATE!” THE SUBJECT OF PSYCHOLOGY ORIGINALLY MEANT “STUDY OF THE SOUL” psyche (soul) and “ology” (study of) As the derivative suggests, psychology originated as a religious study. 

However, it took on a scientific posture when a German psychologist and educator, William Wundt unveiled “modern” or “experimental” psychology at the Leipzig University in 1874 where he trained the first generation of students in experimental psychology. The ideal world of their religious imagination was by no means necessarily an ethical ideal. Indeed, it almost always contained elements which if judged by the standards of the developed moral conscience would appear morally indifferent, if not actually immoral!
