FIX BAYONETS: REAGAN WARNED OF A THOUSAND YEARS OF DARKNESS - THE LIGHTS ARE GOING OUT

by Danny Jeffrey

I have long been a staunch admirer of Ronald Reagan. That is not to say that I have agreed with him on every point that he ever made. The following Reagan quote is one such example.

“I know in my heart that man is good, that what is right will always eventually triumph, and there is purpose and worth to each and every life.”
― Ronald Reagan

Oddly enough there was a time when I believed wholeheartedly in this statement, but reality has the damnedest way of waking one up to the truth, and I cannot help but believe that were Reagan alive today he would rescind those words as there are times when idealism is crushed beneath the heavy boot of oppression. Reagan's idealism, and mine, stand absolutely no chance of survival in a world where evil flourishes as the norm and lofty aspirations are ground into the dirt under the banner of bettering the lot of all mankind.

Ronald Reagan's greatest speech was not delivered on his own behalf but when he was campaigning for Barry Goldwater. That speech was entitled 'A Time For Choosing', and in it he warns that should Americans make the wrong choice we are headed for a repeat of the last Age of Darkness. During that thousand years people existed, lived and died, solely at the whims of their kings and religious leaders.

Unfortunately the American people rejected Reagan's plea and elected Lyndon B. Johnson who put us on the socialist road to 'The Great Society', and with the brief exception of the eight years that Reagan was in office, we have been going downhill ever since. Now we seem hell bent on hitting that bottom before the election of 2016. Enter the age of darkness, and with it a rebirth of ignorance, superstition, oppression, and genocide.

When pure evil rears its ugly head it is often concealed behind the cloak of righteousness, and thus its gullible victims are legion.
