Tesla invented alternating current which is what you're using right now. Edison wanted the world to use his own invention, direct current, and did everything he could to undermine Tesla and his work . Tesla also created the technology that made hydroelectric power possible. He also invented radio before Marconi, but never got the credit. Tesla said he invented wireless energy transmission and appears to have done it and achieved results that even scientists at MIT have not been able to equal.
