ad these alarming stats and watch the short video. How much longer do you really think we can sustain this system? And why would we want to?
- 41% of all births in the USA are paid for by the government
- 60% of elderly long-term care is paid for by the government
- 1 out 3 live in a household that receives food stamps, subsidized housing, cash welfare or Medicaid
Answer: Not nearly enough of us. And a lot less Americans than used to pay.
- During Reagan’s administration, only 19% didn’t pay income tax.
- Today 47% don’t pay income tax.
- Of American Workers: 1 in 15 is currently receiving disability payments from the government.
The answer to this dilemma lies within the moral conscience of each American. Remember that, guy? Moral Conscience?

Sorry. ANY country stupid enough to elect Obama, is certainly stupid enough to DESERVE another term.
“People Get The Government They Deserve”
Of course people on freebies want the freebies to continue. That is human nature.
That said, the situation now is clearly unsustainable. Those on the dole well exceed the tax base.
I don’t know what we’re going to to with the coming tsunami of aging and ailing Boomers.
Right now, many nursing homes cost over $15,000 a month (Better ones cost more!), and it’s nearly impossible to find a nursing home that costs anywhere near only $3000/month! I’m speaking only of room and board — not medical care, hand feedings for the helpless, laundry, etc. All of those services cost extra!
One can enter late in life with what SHOULD be adequate personal funding and end up on Medicaid within three years or less.
Medicare will pay for literal medical care, but not long-term care, the latter the primary function of nursing homes.
Sometimes the ailing can be kept at home, sometimes not. Dementia is often the stopper although there are other stoppers as well.
Right now, one of my best friends is in a nursing home. She is only 57 years old! She fell and broke her leg in multiple places and cannot put any weight whatsoever on the leg for at least three months; she may also have developed a form of dementia. What the hell is her husband going to do? A staunch libertarian who has always stood on his own two feet, her husband is 60 years old and working THREE jobs! Frankly, the only solution is for him to divorce his beloved wife of 38 years. Otherwise, there will be TWO PEOPLE on welfare instead of only one. This story is being played out all over the United States today. I fault our leaders and the health insurance companies for not adequately addressing the tsunami that is bearing down on us even as I type in this comment.
Perhaps this tells the story:

If they re-elected Obama for four more years you can bet we will see these numbers increase 10 fold. A second Obama term will seal our fate making America a truly Socialist State and member of the New World Order.
