Finding an answer to saving America

I have intentionally stayed away from the news, during my illness, trying to remain calm. I can't change what is happening all around us, as I am only one voice.

It's almost a foregone conclusion that this nation as wonderful as we all thought it was, has been changing for so long and we the boomer generation, either didn't notice or we didn't WANT to notice.

The boomer generation, for the most part only replaced themselves when having children. Some of us added another, but so many have decided a child would mess up their life style, that we are fast becoming the minority.

I have watched as this next generation just accepts things as they are, believing that the way we are living is just the norm and just going along to get along. I see no passion for anything, except for their offspring, and that is only like any other generation, that tries to give to them, what they had or didn't have as they grew up.

The generation before us, our parents and grandparents lived a much different life. They either lived during the "Great Depression" or had parents who did, so they were and are much more prepared mentally for what ever comes. Many are prepared physically by buying extra food when it's on sale or storing up food that will hold, so it's promised for 25 years.

I am seeing the generation before me, building bunkers, turning their savings into gold and silver, buying solar generators and guns and a lot of ammunition. You won't see them talk about it on face book or any other venue, they have known about big brother, before we ever knew the word.

So what is the answer to my tale of sorts? It has to do with making it through the future and coming out on the other side of what ever is coming.

We need to put God back in America again. It is really that simple, we, asked Him to leave when prayer was taken out of our schools and public venues. The Ten Commandments has been removed from many places, so as not to offend.

OFFEND WHO?  14% of the nation?  

Offending God is what happened and like the merciful, gentleman He is, He left us on our own. The only way to regain his Grace, His Mercy and His protection is to ask Him back.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Believing in Resurrection, Making Repentance and atonement, Receiving forgiveness and we are saved.

We simply must remember, that name calling, putting down one belief over another is not in keeping with God's commandments. "Love thy neighbor, as thyself."

We all need to try to be more thankful that God allowed us to be born here, in this country and everyone that is alive today, is alive because God wills it to be. Let us try to not place our hopes for a better future in man, but in the blessed redeemer.

We will be voting, in 19 months, to replace the man in the White House and so many are picking and choosing by party, words spoken and presentations made by these folks. I too am vetting these people, because with what is happening in the Middle East, Russia and China, the uncertainty is rampant.

Many are frightened and have no Faith that we can make it through whatever is coming unless we vote for so-and-so. It's simply not about changing Presidents, though that might help, but it's about changing attitudes of 'We The People', to:

I Can. I will. 

No more whining and name calling, it is time to get busy changing attitudes and perceptions and that is the only way that we can help God help us, by Faith in Him and Faith in His Children, Us.

We are FREE, not because man says so, but because OUR GOD says so.
