Dear Friends :
Obama loves to boast and puff out his puny,
near-nonexistent chest as he goes about trying to convince people he is
president. He is "dah man" as long as all he has to do is parade around like a
little Banty Rooster (but without a blush of the tenacity the little chicken
has), play leader, and play golf. Whenever things go sideways and the "it" hits
the fan, it suddenly becomes a matter of his not being informed, unaware,
someone else's fault, George Bush, a film, and/or rogue government agents. He
likes to jut his jaw, glare into the teleprompter, and tell people that the buck
stops with him. Well, if it stops with him, it is darn sure time he stopped
profiling -- bent over and picked it up.
Let's see Mr. "I bee-dee man in charge" actually behave as a leader instead of acting like one out of a Edward D. Wood movie. Wood, for those who have forgotten or never knew, was the king of low-budget, entertainingly gawd awful "B" movies. His most notable is argued to be the worst "B-Film" ever: "Plan 9 From Outer Space."
Obama loves to play leader, and he most certainly likes all the trappings that go with his position, but when it comes to taking the responsibility inherent in being a leader he is a dismal caricature of same.
People for whom the primary concern is color may champion him as a leader, and those driven by abortion and homosexual agendas may like what he advocates, albeit, if presented with the definition of leader I'm not convinced even they could label him as same with a straight face.
It's time for Mr. "I bee-dee man in charge" to take his head out of his teleprompter and shoulder the responsibility that comes with the job. That includes admitting that he was more interested in going up to the private residence for his 6:30 PM dinner on September 11, 2012, than he was in exercising his leadership to do everything possible to save Ambassador Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith. After all, his dinner was more important than saving four men who proved Al Queda is flourishing in the Middle East precisely because of his lack of leadership. Being a leader means he should have made sure Eric Holder, Janet Napolitano, and Hillary Clinton were held accountable for Fast and Furious and the murders of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, Jaime Zapata, and the hundreds of innocent Mexicans murdered because of his illegal, international gun-running operation.
As a leader, he would have to give himself up as well for his complicity in both. But as a "B" actor he can bury his head in his teleprompter and thus lose himself in the part.
I say America expects and deserves better. President Ronald Reagan was an actor -- if Obama wants to be one he should take lessons from him. Then again, Obama should take lessons from President Reagan on how to be a leader. Maybe Obama could even learn how to open and hold his own umbrella from President Reagan.
