Making the most out of Life: Psalm 90:12 

“Teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.”

To make the most out of life the Bible indicates that we must first of all get the whole concept and perspective. Life needs to be seen as it really is. However, in fact, we actually see it upside down. This life is brief and the Bible makes it clear that the eternal life to come is the real life. We also need to focus in on today. Yesterday is gone; irretrievably, forever totally completely gone. We can not bring it back. Tomorrow never comes. 

We never have anything but today. God has given us greater things to live for. Therefore we should learn how to be here in the present moment of our life because that is all there is. We can only live this life one day at a time. let us therefore make the most of each day for His Glory. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. (unquote James Kennedy)

 Pearl’s Poem:

 Now!.... Tomorrow when today is gone...another day is coming on...but it is not for us to live. 

To us this moment God does give.

 Tomorrow’s problems we must face...and solve them in their rightful place. 

Today’s the only time we have ...to make our memories good or bad.

 We say, “Live one day at a time...but when we stop to think...we find... We’re living our whole lives somehow...in just one moment...that is “NOW!”
