Stone Cold Truth Trump Getting the Job Done

DESPITE CONTINUOUS ATTACKS, TRUMP GETTING THE JOB DONE

(By Roger Stone)  The old saying that goes; “give ’em enough rope and they’ll hang themselves” has never been more accurate than in the lynching that CNN and other fake news media has inflicted upon itself. They bet their whole pot on the Trump/Russia collusion story which has after an entire year has come up with zero. So, what now? An apology perhaps?  Maybe a mass firing of those “news” announcers who set a new all-time low for truth in reporting? We should be so lucky. No, they just change the angle of fire. Trump is still the target but the charge now is sexism.
For two days, I watched as CNN reported that Trump had really crossed the line when he complimented an Irish female reporter on her nice smile! It’s not even worth the attention I’m giving it if it weren’t for the fact that in reporting this, CNN has completely lost whatever was left of their credibility. Well instead of giving any more energy to that bunch of twits, I thought I’d mention a few of our president’s accomplishments in the few months he’s been in office.
THE STOCK MARKET:  Not since January of 1987 when Reagan was president has the DOW hit such record highs. Since the election of Donald Trump in November 2016, the closing stock market average has risen more than 15%. The S&P 500 broke $20 trillion for the first time in history. I list this as an accomplishment because it’s a show of confidence in our new president.
U.S. DEBT: Since Trump’s inauguration the amount of debt owed by the U.S. government has decreased by $100 billion. As a comparison, the debt under Obama grew more than $560 billion in his first three months.
MANUFACTURING:  Manufacturing index soared to a 33 year high in February.  Economists say Trump is the spark.
JOBS:  U.S. companies added around 298,000 jobs in Trump’s first few months.
NATO:  After president Trump requested that NATO countries bump up their spending, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg reported that allied spending was up $10 billion.
SUPREME COURT: President Trump’s nominee for Supreme Court Justice was confirmed and sworn in. He is Judge Neil Gorsuch.
GETTING GOVERNMENT OUT OF THE WAY Donald Trump has done more to stop the Government from interfering in the lives of Americans in his first 100 days than any other President in history.
President Trump has signed 13 Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolutions in his first 100 days, more than any other President. These resolutions nullified unnecessary regulations and block agencies from reissuing them. These resolutions nullified unnecessary regulations and block agencies from reissuing them. Since CRA resolutions were introduced under President Clinton, they’ve been used only once, under President George W. Bush.
In office, President Trump has accomplished more in his first 100 days than any other President since Franklin RooseveltPresident Trump will have signed 30 executive orders during his first 100 days. Obama signed 19 executive orders during his first 100 days. President George W. Bush signed 11 executive orders during his first 100 days.  President Clinton signed 13 executive orders during his first 100 days.
A SLEW OF LEGISLATION SIGNED: Despite historic Democrat obstructionism, President Trump has worked with Congress to pass more legislation in his first 100 days than any President since Truman.  Trump has worked with Congress to enact 28 laws during the first 100 days of his Administration.  President Obama enacted 11 laws during his first 100 days and President George W. Bush enacted 7 laws during his first 100 days.
VETERANS: On April 19, 2017 Trump signed an extension of the Veterans Choice Act of 2014, which allowed veterans to seek medical care outside the VA system due to serious VA problems.
On June 2, 2017—President Trump signed a bill into law giving preference in federal grants to “federal and state law enforcement agencies that hire and train veterans”.
On June 23, 2017—President Trump signed the Department of Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistle Blower Protection Act into law (Trump described the law as “one of the largest reforms to the VA in its history”), which expanded protections for VA whistle blowers, gave the VA the authority to end bonuses to convicted employees, made quicker and easier the process for firing, suspending, and demoting employees.
On April 27, 2017—President Trump signed an executive order creating an office in the Department of Veterans Affairs to investigate obstacles preventing the VA from firing incompetent employees, and to protect those who reveal cases of incompetence in the department.
On June 5, 2017—The Department of Veterans Affairs announced I would adopt the same medical records system as the Defense Department in order to bring better care for veterans.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE: On June 2, 2017—President Trump signed a bill into law to reduce the backlog of families of fallen police officers waiting to receive benefits due to their status.
On February 2017—Under President Trump, Attorney General Sessions rescinded an Obama Administration memo that directed the Bureau of Prisons to begin phasing out private prisons.
On February 9, 2017—President Trump signed three executive orders pertaining to law enforcement. The first cracked down and strengthens the law against international crime organizations, the second deals with anti-law enforcement crimes, and third with finding a strategy for reducing crime in general, “including, in particular, illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and violent crime.”
April 13, 2017-Under President Trump, The Justice Department prosecuted two doctors and one other for practicing female genital mutilation– the first such prosecutions under a federal law passed by Congress in 1996 prohibiting the practice.
On May 11, 2017—Attorney General Sessions ended Obama and Eric Holder’s policy of pursuing light sentences for criminals when he ordered federal prosecutors to pursue “the most serious and readily provable offense” committed by those under prosecution.
June 30, 2017—The Trump Administration sent 20 ATF agents to Chicago to help the city fight gun violence.  The local US Attorney said the same day that his office had already prosecuted more Chicago gun cases in 2017 than it had done throughout the entire 2016.
GUN RIGHTS: On February 28, 2017, President Trump signed a bill into law (Public Law 115-8) repealing a Social Security Administration rule adding mental disability determinations to the background check registry, subject to a person applying to be removed from the list. Congress had passed a law requiring federal agencies to search their records for people who were “mentally defective” and the Social Security Administration had published their method of gathering names on December 16, 2016.
The regulation would have added the names of disability beneficiaries who have a mental illness or are not competent to manage their own finances, potentially leading to the removal of Second Amendment rights to many perfectly competent, mentally healthy citizens. By signing the resolution of disapproval, as with other CRA acts, the Social Security Administration cannot come up with different criteria for supplying names to the background check registry for 10 years.
IMMIGRATION, BORDER SECURITY:  January 27, 2017—Trump signed an executive order indefinitely banning the admission of Syrian refugees, suspending the overall refugee program for 120 days, suspending entry and the issuing of visas from seven failed Middle Eastern countries for at least 90 days, and reducing the number of refugees allowed into the nation during the fiscal year from 110,000 to 50,000.
H.R. 244, which was signed into law by President Trump on May 5, 2017, and funded the government through September 30, 2017, did not include funding for several of President Trump’s priorities, such as defunding sanctuary cities and building new sections of the border wall. However, it did include an additional $1.5 billion in border security funding, including money to repair 40 miles of existing border barrier sections and to increase funding for ICE and Customs and Border Protection.
On March 6, 2017—President Trump signed a second executive order regarding the temporary suspension of refugees and others from certain high-risk countries after the first one was blocked by the courts.
On April 18, 2017, President Trump signed an executive order restricting the H-1B visa to give the hiring preference to American workers and enacting stronger enforcement of laws requiring the use of American-made materials in federal projects
EDUCATION: On April 26, 2017—President Trump signed an executive order ordering Secretary of Education Betsy De Vos to review Department of Education regulations, with the intention of returning power to the states and local governments.
“President Trump issued a sweeping review of federal education policies on Wednesday in an executive order to pinpoint areas where the government may be overstepping in shaping operations of local school systems.  The order requires Betsy DeVos, Mr. Trump’s education secretary, to review, modify and possibly repeal any regulations and guidelines that are not consistent with federal law.  President Trump described the order as “another critical step to restoring local control,” and one that fulfills one of his campaign promises.”
President Trump signed two resolutions that roll back Obama-era regulations that inform state education officials how they are supposed to implement the new federal education law, the Every Student Succeeds Act.
The first resolution prevents the Department of Education from dictating prescriptive requirements for how states and school districts measure achievement, using metrics such as school ratings, timelines for interventions for failing schools and student participation in state assessments. The second resolution negates a rule that dictates specific requirements states must use to determine the effectiveness of teacher-preparation programs.
ECONOMIC POLICY: On June 15, 2017—President Trump signed executive orders to loosen federal regulations on job-training programs and to encourage apprenticeships and vocational learning.
TRADE POLICY: On January 23, 2017, Trump signed an order which withdrew the United States from the globalist Trans-Pacific Partnership.
On March 31, 2017, President Trump signed two orders. The first order instituted a crackdown on violations of anti-dumping laws and help to officials to collect penalties already owed to the U.S. The second order ordered a report by the Dept. of Commerce and the U.S. Trade Representative on the causes of the U.S. trade deficit due within 90 days.
On April 20, 2017, President Trump signed a memorandum directing the Dept. of Commerce to investigate whether steel imports pose a threat to U.S. national security.
On April 25, 2017, after Canada changed its milk pricing policy, putting U.S. farmers at a severe disadvantage, the Trump Administration imposed tariffs at rates up to 24% on Canadian lumber imports.
On April 27, 2017, President Trump signed a memorandum opening a Department of Commerce investigation into whether the high level of aluminum imports constitutes a threat to U.S. national security.
On June 12, 2017—The U.S. and China made an agreement that would allow American beef products to be exported to China.
President Donald Trump said he will not immediately quit NAFTA, according to a White House statement released late Wednesday evening. Instead, Trump will work with Mexico’s President Peña Nieto, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to renegotiate the deal. “It is my privilege to bring NAFTA up to date through renegotiation. It is an honor to deal with both President Peña Nieto and Prime Minister Trudeau, and I believe that the end result will make all three countries stronger and better,” Trump said in the statement.
FOREIGN POLICY:  After the Syrian government used chemical weapons on its people, President Trump ordered a one-time airstrike against a Syrian air base, firing 60 cruise missiles at it.  The U.S. destroyed about 20 Syrian jet planes and caused extremely heavy damage on the base.  Defense Secretary James Mattis stated the attacks destroyed 20% of Syria’s operational aircraft.
On April 13, 2017the U.S. dropped a GBU-43B (also known as MOAB or the “Mother Of All bombs”), the largest non-nuclear bomb in existence at 21,000 pounds on a complex of Islamic State tunnels in Afghanistan.  Although tested in 2003, the bomb had never been used in combat before.  It caused much damage, being estimated to have killed at least 94 ISIS fighters, including four commanders – no civilians were killed.  It also destroyed several of the tunnels as well as weapon stockpiles.
Despite 24 hour accusations and endless ranting from the fake news media (CNN, MSNBC et.al.), our President has managed to do a few things. With the liberal fake news pundits devoting 95% of their air time to trashing Trump, it’s no wonder most of these and many more accomplishments of President Trump have gone unreported.
