LADY LIBERTY AND HER THOUGHT'S

                                       The Lady liberty

I wonder what she thought

As she stood there, strong and tall.

She couldn't turn away,

She was forced to watch it all.

Did she long to offer comfort

As her country bled?

With her arm forever frozen

High above her head.

She could not shield her eyes

She could not hide her face

She just stared across the water

Keeping Freedom's place.

The smell of smoke and terror

Somehow reduced her size

So small within the harbor

But still we recognized...

How dignified and beautiful

On a day so many died

I wonder what she thought,

And I know she must have cried.

IT IS TIME THAT "WE THE PEOPLE" PUT THE CONTENT OF ONES CHARACTER OVER AND ABOVE ANYTHING ELSE IN THE USE OF OF OUR MOST VALUABLE ASSET, OUR VOTE!

Our Founding Fathers made it clear that our first duty as a citizen is to be self educated in the matters before OUR nation. They further called us to USE that education to become well informed on the pressing issues that affect or threaten our liberty. An electorate that does not fully know and completely understand the founding documents of our nation, which were created to preserve and protect the liberty and freedom of the people. The purpose of our founding documents was and still should be to road map for the people to ALWAYS have the full control of those whom they choose to elect to represent them in the governance of OUR republic. They are by our constitution, when full understand and adhered to by the people duly constrained in their authority and duty to ONLY serve US and not be self anoint themselves our rulers.

Had we as a nation of people exercised our full duties as citizens I would submit that today we would not be facing the massive debt we are now saddled with. Our elected officials would not be allowed to serve the few who have enough money to buy their favor.

We would not have allowed a judiciary to intervene and subvert the will of the majority, which is the true purpose and force the will of a very small minority upon everyone which has and still is leading to the degradation of all society. The most empowered person or persons in our constitutional judicial system is the juror. Juror autonomy and juror nullification are pivotal rights and indeed they are duties that must never be infringed on nor ignored in our court system.

Through our failure to elect those from our peers and the overt election of the majority of our representatives from the legal industry, we by our absence and our duty have allowed the court systems to transfer the authority and control from the people to a body that comprises less than one half of one percent of our population. That is hardly a representation of the people. We have been cajoled into electing tyranny. Today too much power and indeed the balance of power within our governments is now weighted and controlled by a group who are NOT elected by directly by the people but are appointed by lawyers we have elected to serve us and NOT themselves.

I believe that if we don not address the root causes of our nation's problems and then choose to deal with and correct them, we will never recover our full potential as a free people and we will never regain the stature with the rest of the nations in the world that elevated US as the real beacon of liberty and freedom that caused the people of the world to aspire to our values for living.

It is time to put partisan issues behind us, it it time to unite in the preservation of our liberty and freedoms. It is time to return to the moral and free society that caused our ascension in the eyes of the world. It is time for the people to reclaim our governance and thus reclaim our duty and destiny to always remain that beacon of freedom and liberty that brings out the best in each man and woman, which in turn brings out the best in our nation.
