Obama Asked About Obamacare’s Sinking Approval Numbers:

“Everybody Is Wrong”

Despite what numerous reports have said about the cost of Obamacare and numerous polls say about the American people approving of the incredible boondoggle a takeover of the US healthcare system will be, President Obama said Tuesday in an interview with Telemundo that Americans were wrong to doubt his signature healthcare reform law, saying concerns over rising costs or worsening health outcomes were not supported by the evidence.
Well, actually they are, hereherehere andhere. Got ya Barack!
In that interview on Tuesday, the president was asked if “everybody [was] wrong” after polling data shows that a majority of Americans do not want the Obamacare law and believe it will raise their healthcare costs. “Yes,” the president said as he gave a laugh, “they are.” People may be wrong about the costs of Obamacare, but they can't be wrong if they don't want it.
The president said a “look at the facts” revealed that young adults were able to stay on their parents’ health insurance longer and that seniors were getting “billions of dollars in discounts on their prescription drugs.” Of course what the President doesn't say about these 2 things is that while young adults will save money on their personal premiums till age 26, it will continue to cost parents and insurance companies to provide these benefits. It will also cost someone more to offer discounted prescriptions to seniors. This is nothing more than cost shifting, there is no real savings here.
When Obama was asked about reports that insurance rates were rising in some areas, The president said the law would be a net positive. Of course he did not back that up with any statistics or facts.
